Well, it beats cats I guess .
A Pukerua Bay boy discovered the downside of climbing trees this afternoon having to climb back down again.
Plimmerton and Porirua firefighters were called to Rawhiti Road at 3:45 this afternoon where Kevin Quinnell, 5, was stuck on a branch five metres above ground.
Plimmerton Volunteer Fire Brigade Station Officer Ian Scott says that Kevin seemed quite calm through the whole ordeal. "He was happy enough, but he just couldn't get down by himself, and was in a fairly precarious position" he said.
A small crowd, including Kevin's mother and sister, watched as firefighters rescued him using a harness and ladder. He was unhurt.
